These two marry and move far away from Mike, where the bitter split between the men can't touch them. Tommy happens to fall in love with her, also, and she, tiring of Mike's habits, returns his affection. Mike has a lovely, personable girlfriend he is forever neglecting he is the supreme egotist. Tommy (Billy Campbell) is a mechanic for a hotshot race driver named Mike (Rob Estes).
